Pamela L. Jackson

DNP, RN, CNS, VHA-CM

Dr. Jackson is the Chief of Nursing and Employee Education at Carl Vinson Veterans Affairs Medical Center, in Dublin, GA. With over 30 years of nursing background, Dr. Jackson's experience includes nursing executive leadership, emergency, psychiatric, and home health care experience. Her professional presentations include Suicide Prevention, Leading with Influence, LEAN Training, Mentoring,  Nurse Recruitment and Retention Strategies, Internal Investigations and more. Dr. Jackson began her nursing career as a licensed practical nurse in 1987 and continued her professional pursuit until she obtained a terminal degree in 2014. She holds a  Doctorate in Nursing Practice-(DNP) in Administration with an Educator Concentration from Samford University, Birmingham, AL.  Her past-times include spending time with family, photography, music, and scrapbooking. She is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
